Artist Statement
Robinson’s work for St Francis Interquest consists of 2 panels depicting Pikes Peak from the vantage point of Centura Interquest Hospital. The abstracted image created by brightly colored paper coils acts as a vibrant homage to Colorado Springs. All of the artwork throughout this floor represents Sister Earth our Mother from St. Francis’ Cantle of the Creatures. The foreground of Robinson’s piece portrays the colored flowers and fruitful land enjoyed at the base of the mountain. This view is a main view from the Centura Interquest Hospital looking West.
